Saturday with my daughter

It finally happened.....here I am blogging!!!

But the best part of it is I get to tell you about spending time with my daughter. Seldom does that happen anymore, since they grown-up, have families and lives of their own. However, I'll take any second or nano second she has to spare.

It wasn't one of her favorite things to do, but something she is secretly enjoying, GENEALOGY. You see once that bug bites, your mind starts asking questions, and you need answers. Even if they are used to correct and prove to a angry hearted man that he's wrong.

So five hours later, several stacks of paper filed away, or in a pile to throw away. I'd say we were well on our way to getting things in order. I had a great time, we laughed, got confused, well I did anyway, and with the use of a magnifying glass. Fuzzy hand writting.

Thanks honey for sharing time with me.....lets do it again. And I urge all Mothers, spend time with your daughters, as much as you can. And cherish her, no matter what !!!!

Clean Desktop and 4.0 GPA!

Today, Stephanie helped me get the desktop of my laptop cleaned up! That includes tons and tons of pictures that needed resized, added to flickr, then filed! What a relief!

My grand-daughter also has a 4.0 as of today! Watch her ACE her Finals this next week to keep it!

Until She's Ready...

Well, until she's ready, here's a first blog post for my mom...I'm sure she'll want to add blogging to her list of "more" stuff to do, it's only a matter of time, and training! :)
